Physical History
The Original Guild
The actual physical structure of the Guild has changed over time and this section chronicles its rennovations. Originally, before Darkhaven was torn down and rebuilt, the Guild was rather small, only seven rooms.
In the New Darkhaven
After the reconstruction of Darkhaven, the Guild was completely rebuilt. Many new rooms and extra things were added. The shop now sold food as well as the new white mana potions. We were also given a Guild healer. The brew/scribe room was added in after Damian held a contest for the room description, won by Daphne. Covellia worked to get a noteboard added into the Haven of Leadership making the GoM the first Guild with two noteboards (but all the other guilds rapidly followed suit). The Council Chambers was an addition made during Erienne's leadership when she revived the Council of Mages.
The First Reconstruction
After some time, the Guild was given permission to do rennovations and rebuild the Guild in whatever way they desired. Under Aphrael's leadership, the leaders and CoM constructed the new floorplan for the Guild. The main changes were that the two staircase rooms were converted into other rooms -- the Lounge and the Landing. Aphrael held a contest for the room description of the Lounge won by Dronak. Aphrael wrote the description for the Landing herself with the approval of the CoM. This incarnation of the Guild was put into effect under Cozen's leadership.
The Second Reconstruction
During Thalasian's leadership, the Guild was once again given permission to rebuild its physical home. Together Thalasian and Saraoreo created the new Guild floorplan. Formaki filled out most of the room descriptions, and Meade polished everything off. Finally, the new guild has been ported under Meade's leadership. The guild has been moved out of the Darkhaven area but it sits in the same spot. The Guilds theme is now a flying fortress high above the city of Darkhaven. The new Guild was made possible by the efforts of Formaki, Meade, Pamalia, Riley, Saraoreo, and Thalasian.
